Dvd Created Won't Fit On Tv Screen

I'm creating a DVD with audio and jpg images. It plays fine on a computer, but when you play it on a DVD player I have the following problems.

 

1. The images won't fit on the screen. The outer 1 to 2 inches are off the screen.

2. The sound is garbled and not always clear.

 

I've tried the disk in various dvd players and I have the same problem. Does it have to do with pixels or how I'm saving it. I saved all my files down to 576 pixels wide and I still have the same problem.

 

Please help if you can.

I can't help but, I was hoping someone helped you. I am getting too small of a screen when playing back on the tv. The sound sounds ok. Thanks for any info you can give.

retfam had a common TV Overscan issue that is pretty hard to fix in V6.
