Tv Safe Zone

I understand how important it is to keep buttons inside the tv safe zone,

but is it also important for text (title)?

 

on my main menu I currently have it set up where the title is outside the tv safe zone, and if I had to bring it inside the 'zone' I'd have to shrink my background image, otherwise the title would be covering peoples heads on my main menu picture.

Anything that you want to see on your television, has to be inside the safe zone.

G'pa is correct, of course. I would only add that if its close to the s. zone & you don't mind wasting a blank DVD if it doesn't work out OK, it may be worth it to you to try; I have gotten away w/ text being slightly out of the safe zone.
