When trying to open MyDVD Basic v9, I get a msg. "unable to find a certificate file". In add/remove programs, a repair of it didn't work. This was "pre-installed" Roxio software that came with my new HP tablet pc. If I do a clean install / removal, or try this method.........
(assume default view, for classic it's easier)
-Control Panel ->Appearance and Personalization->Folder Options->View : click on "Show Hidden files and folders" then click Apply
-Using explorer go to : c:\Program Data
-Delete folder called Roxio & Sonic (if present)
-Start Creator : should go through registration etc. (at least in my case)
......How do I install it again without the CD?
I really am a newbie, but more than willing to learn if anyone can help.
Thanks,
Lo
P.S. The problem all started when I downloaded Blackberry's v4.3 software with Media manager, which I've since been forced to remove and load v4.2 "without" Media manager.
