Labelling A Slide In Sonic Digital Media Plus

hamelot

Question

I have a friend who has made a slideshow using "Sonic Digital Media Plus" version 7.0 that came bundled with his HP Media Center PC. He's very pleased with the slideshow, but cannot figure out how to overlay some text on each sliede that gives some identifying information. For example, he has a slide of the Roman coliseum and he want to write "Roman Coliseum" visible on that slide so it is identifiable to those watching the slideshow.

Unfortunately, I do not have the Sonic software on my computer and I live in a different city so I don't have access to his computer. I told him I thought that should be easily done, and he's probably overlooked where in the the menu you add this.

If anyone has this software, I'd really appreciate some brief instructions on how to do this.

I don't have this software, however, there should be someplace in the slideshow area that shows text. They should go into help and try to find the answer there, for this particular software. It should be relatively simple to do. In Sonic/Roxio Videowave, there is an icon for text, you click on that and it shows the text options then you drag it into the track for text or drag it to the picture. Then edit to be the size color and what path you want to use, like fly in, still or scroll. You might try this
