Projet Completes But Disc Is Blank Help Asap

mamat

Question

I had been making slideshow movies and then burning to Iso file and then to disc with no problems until now. I am on my last movie and it shows the burn to completed but nothing shows up on the DVD. I have tried 6 times when different brands. I thought my burner could be going bad but I tried another movie I had done previously and it worked fine. Is there something else I can try? It is a mother's Day gift.

In MyDVD when you click the burn button and the burn project screen opens. Uncheck Burn to disc and check Save disc image file, then click the browse button and choose a location on your PC to save the image file. When the image file is done open Video Copy and Convert, on the source side, choose DVD Video Copy, click the drop down menu and choose the Browse for Disc Image/DVD Video Folder. Navigate to your saved image, set the disc size at the bottom and on the destination side burn to your burner/disc.

The last movie may contain a corrupt file. Did you preview the .iso file in Video Copy and Convet, prior to burning it to a disc?

Burning to the .iso is my problem now. I have 6 slideshows on my movie. I have started over from the beginning & redid the whole project only for the same thing to happen. When burning to .iso when it gets to movie 6 of 6 it just stops and shuts the program down with no warning. The file size is 14mb. Now when I try to pull the project back up it states that it is already running.

Help Please!

That last movie is bad and is causing the crash. Remove it, edit it or you will continue to have problems.

I have removed it and re added it twice. And also I deleted the whole projected & re did it with the same outcome.

Have you tried it w/ just the first 5 and still had the same problems? confused1.gif Things are pointing to a corrupt 6th movie, as grandpa and sknis suggest.

OK, I removed the FIRST TWO movies and the project shows it did complete @ 100% burning to .iso. But it did take over 3 hours. Now as soon as I get a chance I will try to burn to disc again. I still think the problem was roxio could not handle the size because the 6th movie is NOT corrupt.

Thanks for your input.
