Goodie Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 /Volumes/Temp Storage/IMG_1534.jpg /Volumes/Temp Storage/IMG_1533.jpg When burning DVD's I keep getting the message: The drive reported an error: Sense key = medium error sense code = 0x0C write error I then get the message: The drive reported an error: Sense key = Illegal Request Sense key = 0x30, 0x005 cannot write medium - incompatibale format Any one have a clue? tsantee Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 It appears your drive is not wanting to write to that media. You might try a different brand or type or check if your drive has a firmware update available. If all worked well with Toast 8 then I suggest trashing the Toast plist and prefs files from your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunching Toast 9.
