Depends on price. Buy.com, newegg.com and tigerdirect.com always seem to have one size or another on sale as do my local Circuit City, Best Buy and Office Max/Depot. Seagate's FreeAgent is available in many sizes and is pretty good. Also popular is Maxtor's One Touch. I've purchased OEM hard drives and then bought an external case to make my own and most are good but some are very cheap and get hot.

Then, there's the choice of USB, Firewire, SATA connector. Some drives give you no choice while others give you all three.

What problems are you having with your Iomega?

I have mentioned in an earlier post..

The Iomega I have is on occasion switching itself off and on..

I can still have access to all my stored files in it..

I have also got a Western Digital and that's ok..no probs.

I quite like the Seagate.

Thanks Paul
