Mankind
I have ISO files for two different Windows operating systems. At least one of these I would like to install into virtual PC. Will Toast burn this type of file, and make a disk that I can use to install the OS? Mankind
tsantee
Toast will burn an iso file using the Image File setting in the Copy window. Whether or not you'll be able to use it as an install disc is something you'll discover.
robert06
If the windows iso is a bootable version inside the iso the answer would be yes it would work. I have seen so many windows os's as iso's and most come directly from microsoft themselves.
pseudonym
Disk Utility offers the following information about the (retail) Windows XP installation CD I have: ISO 9660 (Rockridge) There are options in Toast for burning ISO 9660 data discs. You might try using the Joliet naming setting, as it is the most compatible.
