Anybody Use Easy Cd For Slipstreaming?

I have searched for instructions on the internet for slipstreaming Windows service packs into my original copy of XP Pro. I have been able to extract the files, but now it is time to burn the image on a bootable CD. The instructions all refer to Nero 6.0 or newer, and not the express version because of specific overrides that are needed for Microsoft. I have been using Easy CD and DVD Burning for occasional file burning, and I do not need the full blown CD and DVD maker programs. I could download a trial version of something just to get the job done, but I risk leaving junk in my registry to cause problems later after I remove it. Has anybody here slipstreamed Windows service packs with Windows with Easy CD? Nothing came up with search. I have a new PC that will only boot with XP SP2 because of SATA, and there are no more floppy drive connections.
