Inserting Text Help

FalvinP

Question

I've done a search of the forum and haven't found this issue addressed. I want to insert text in both colored panels and in photos. Everything goes well until I attempt to move the text by dragging the "move" symbol. When I attempt to move text, it snaps to the upper left part of the panel, out of view. I can see a thin colored line on the border where the text apparently moved to, but I can't drag it back. All I can do when this happens is delete the panel and start over.

I've made sure that the text is inserted on an internal track as opposed to inserting it in the production. Did I chose the wrong option?

I've watched the screencasts on EMC Tips and have seen text moved with no issues.

Has anyone else had this happen to them and is there a way to remedy it?

Thanks for your help.

Two possibilities. If you added a movement to the text such as drop in from left to right, it would be seen in the upper left corner at the start of the display time. If you go to the timeline and advance the time, it should move to the place where you can see it.

If you are not sure or if you didn't add movement, go to the settings for the text and make any necessary changes there.
