30 Day Download Limit

I recently built a new system and I need to reinstall MyDVD 10 Premier. I take full blame for not backing up the .exe install file so please do not flame me.

 

Ok. So I go to download the file again and I am shown this message:

 

Sorry,

 

It is too late to download this file. You were allowed to download within 30 days.

 

If you have any questions, please contact Digital River Customer Service at CustomerServices@digitalriver.com.

 

Regardless as to whether this is some sort of sour joke on part of Roxio / Sonic Solutions, I still need to download the install file again. Any help?

Contact Customer Service, and explain what happened to them.

 

The way I see it, it sure isn't a Roxio joke for your user error. :blink:

Here is the message I received after I contacted customer service:

 

Dear (ebonyofold),

 

Thank you for contacting the Sonic Solutions Online Store.

 

All download products purchased through the Sonic Solutions Online Store

have a period of 30 days from the order date in which you can complete

a download. In the event the download file needs to be accessed after 30

days, you have the option to purchase the Extended Download Service.

 

If you are interested in purchasing Extended Download Service for an

existing order, you will need to login to our customer service page at:

 

1. Go to http://www.findmyorder.com

 

2. There are 2 ways to find the order that was placed. Please use the

appropriate method listed below:

 

A. Credit Card orders; enter in your email address and the last

five digits of your credit card* from your order.

 

B1. Check, PayPal, Wire Transfer or if you do not have the credit

card information available;

Access the following URL to have a password assigned to the

order and then emailed to you. This requires that the email address from

the order be entered and the password will be sent to that address.

B2. When the password is received, go back to the URL listed in

step one, and then enter the order number and the password to locate the

order.

Once you have completed the purchase of the Extended Download Service

you will need to return to http://www.findmyorder.comand access your

original order for the software, information listed above. You will now

be able to download the software by clicking on the Begin Download

button next to the product name.

 

If you have any further questions or concerns, please reply to this
