Drag To Disc And Disc Copier Don't Work

Hello,

 

My Drag to Disc doesn't work. Error message: Drag to disc could not start because components necessary to run are missing... If I try to start disc copier I get the following error message: dragon engine initialization failed! I deinstalled EMC 7.5 and installed it again several times, but always get the same error messages... please help

I am not sure, but I think this problem is caused by Napster. Go to Napster's site and download the latest version and install it. Reboot, and see if the programs work. If they do, you can then remove the Napster program, if you want. The EMC 7.5 programs should still work.

The uninstall is probably not really cleaning out the registry. Try this:

• uninstall EMC 7
  
• install and run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility to remove the EMC 7 installer fragments
  http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;290301
  
• reinstall EMC 7
