Creator 9 Won't Install

Trying to install Roxio Creator & My DVD 9.0 DE. Install looks like its going fine. Directories are created, but cannot see any executablies..

Can anyone shed some light on what's happening. I did th uninstall and eraced all the sonic and roxio software areas of the registry, etc. Tried the install and received the same results.

Since it's a cut-down Dell edition [DE], perhaps you should ask your vendor Dell.

Unfortunately they haven't given the gurus a copy of this software so we can get familiar with it and answer some questions. :(

Do I have the same problem see below - I purchased this software program not sure how to proceed.

Well I hate to be the one to tell you this but if a complete removal of our software didn't do the trick, then the problem lies somewhere else in windows. It could be another application causing a problem, but you may just be better off with a new clean fresh install of windows itself.

I am having the EXACT sme issue, and re-installing the OS is not an option. Roxio tech support said my installer was bad and I needed a new disk from Dell. Got a new disk, and I am having the exact same problem. I just need to burn some CD's! Is there a fix for this or not? That doesn't involve nuking my system....

From what you are saying re-installation of the OS is the only option - that is if you are having exactly the same problem

 

If it's not exactly the same - please post a new thread and be more specific
