Fit Production To Audio Button

I'm unable to find the "Fit Production to Audio Button in VideoWave

SySynchronizing audio to the production

 

You can adjust the duration of the images and video clips to match the duration of the background audio clip.

 

To fit the audio to the video:

 

1. In the Storyline view, click the Fit Production to Audio button.

 

The Fit to Audio dialog box appears, informing you what the duration of the items in the production will be if they are resized to match the duration of the audio.

 

2. Click OK to accept the change.

 

The video is adjusted to the audio duration.

EMC 8 came as three flavors. EMC 8 Deluxe had all applications/functions enabled. EMC 8 Basic (I don't remember the actual name) was limited. There was also one in between that was obviously in between the others. Do you remember which one you have - do you have the original box?

 

It may be that you do not have that "button" I don;'t have EMC 8 on my computer but here is an image where it is in EMC 10. Perhaps the same?

I’m working with Roxio EMC8. the box says Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 SUITE purchased in November 2006. At that time I was working with an older computer which could not offer enough memory. I”m now working with a Centrino Duo which has a larger memory. I’ve been able to make some productions without narration.

 

I know you work with EMC10 but if I open Videowave 8 and click on the PRODUCTION tab I get the following options:

 

Add Photo/Video

Add color panel

add transition

apply transition theme

add overlay

add video effect

add text effect

add audio

add narration

adjust duration

edit internal tracks

rotate clockwise

rotate counter-clockwise

split

replace selected panel

edit photo

pan & zoom editor

fit video and audio

panel properties

 

however the three options: split, edit photo and fit video and audio are shaded and therefore not available on my list

 

If I really want to achieve a production with narration I may have to upgrade but I think I’ll explore other applications within Roxio EMC8 SUITE first.

Have you added any photo/video/ to the production when the options are shown as shaded?
