Old Tk2 Recovery

Recommended Posts

hi all,

Was going through my junk the other day and found 5 cd's with the tk2 extension for them ie MyBackup.tk2 from 2002 no less lol

Anyway just short of trashing them but want to have a look see at em anyone got any clues how to access them it's a roxio take two extension I believe?

Suggestions or pointers or does the new roxio actually make provisons for old tk2 backups?

From as far back as ECDC 5.1, Take Two hasn't been supported.

I suspect it has some kind of compression; if not, a recovery program like cdroller (www.cdroller.com) or ISOBuster (www.isobuster.com) would tell you what you have.

Otherwise, your original intention was correct :(

Without installing Take Two (and that'd have to be on a pre-XP system) there's really no way to look at what's on them. That's the problem with any sort of backup that doesn't save files "as they were". So, no, the current version of EMC makes no provision for accessing that file type.
