Toast 9 - Disc Spanning

Hi There.

 

Firstly how cool is Toast 9.... stoked... money VERY well spent :-)

 

I currently use Toast 9 and Disc spanning. 9m a photographer and I shoot RAW files for Weddings on a 22MP camera.

 

I use disc spanning to back up the CR2 (RAW) files. I have five recorders all capable of burning dual layer DVDs.

 

What my questions is, is it possible to assign multiple recorders to a disc span or is it limited to one recorder only?

It was a good suggestion, but any news? It wold be a very time saver, if you need to backup multiple spanning discs and if you have got multiple recorders, you don't need to be in front of the mac to change every disc.. especially during the all night.

Seems something like retrospect do from a lot of time..

Toast 11 supports burning to multiple drives but I don't think it would assign different spanned segments to different drives at the same time.

It is limited to one recorder at a time, but this is actually a good suggestion. I'll pass it on.
