It appears EMC 10 and Windows Vista just don't get along. I tried the Sound Editor and it didn't recognize my sound card. It recognized my computer's "in-line" and "mic inputs" and that's all. I went to Radio Shack, purchased a 3.5mm stereo splitter (one male end with two females ends), put the male end into my computer's stereo out, and the speakers in one female end. I also purchased a 3.5mm stereo cable (male on both ends) and put one end into the splitter and one into the computers in-line receptacle. EMC 10 recognized sound from the in-line and now I can record from the internet.
When you pay money for a product, you would expect it to deliver . . .
