After a month of successfully burning dvd's via emc8/myDvD on my new (Jan) HP a1310n with a HP 740b burner from mpegs (2 hr movies), I've suddenly begun having audio sync problems while burning. It doesn't matter if I save first in ISO or burn directly with fit to disc. 3 of last 5 movie files have this problem. However, I can watch the mpeg in WMP10, and the sync is perfect. After this started I have defragged, and had 1 success, but then the next failed. I have a 200 gig HD, and 65% is free. I did see an update on HP for the firmware, but they caution to follow instructions, but unless a text file is bundled into the exe file I downloaded, I don't know what the instructions are. Help from anyone would be appreciated.
