John Palos
I have been reviewing numerous installation problems people have had with EMC10. Please comment on the installation process I propose. Using windows XP install/remove, remove all Sonic or Roxio software. I have Sonic digital media projects, Digital media home, My DVDLE. If I do not receive a "certificate file error" proceed to install EMC10 If I do receive a "certificate file error" follow the clean install process detailed in the forum. Then install EMC10 Do not reboot Go to Roxio site and download the correct EMC10 update Reboot Good to go hopefully Thanks
gi7omy
Don't forget to check for Roxio and Sonic folders here (App Data is a hidden folder so you will have to set it as visible in the tools option in Windows Explorer) C:\Documents and Settings\Daithi\Application Data Obviously - change the name (that's where mine lives)
Mikemc
I have done a clean install of 10 and three other installs - all with the same problem - works fine after the reboot but the the second time I try to use 10 it will not open. Is anyone having this problem?
