Editing Panels

I installed version 10 this morning and I am still trying to figure out how to edit a certain section within a panel. I know how to trim the beginning and ending but how do you take out a section from the middle??!! I know it's probably the simplest thing and I'll most-likely be embarrassed by the simplicity but at the moment I'm frustrated and can't seem to figure out how to do this. Any help is appreciated!!

If you are using VideoWave, which you should, and you are talking about a video clip, then click on the Timeline tab, then, on the video on Timeline, set your cursor at the beginning of the part you want to delete, right click on it, select split, then move on to the end of what you want deleted, and repeat the right click. Then, highlight the portion you want cut, right click on it, and select delete. Poof, it's gone.

 

There are other ways to do it, and I am sure that someone else will stop in and let you know how. I am a right clicker, going all the way back to the EMC 7 days.
