I had heard from my computer tech that Roxio has a device installed in the software that will turn off your drive when un- install their software. I need help getting my f drive back. Your computer tech is wrong. It is a known Microsoft problem. If your drive shows in Device Manager, right click on it, and delete it, reboot your computer, and see if Windows finds it again. If it is an internal burner, and that doesn't work, go to Device Manager, click on the + to the left of Ide ATA/ATAPI Controllers, and delete the Secondary IDE Channel, and reboot.
