Brendon
What Roxio software [name and version number, please] did you remove, what Operating System are you running, and how did you remove the Roxio software, please? [as much detail as possible] I suspect you've either left large chunks behind or have tangled up the Microsoft Installer, but can't advise properly without knowing that information. makim
Hello, thanks for prompt reply I have windows XP, roxio not sure which version, but it was old at leat 4-5 years old I went to "add remove programs" and just did the whole thing
Brendon
If it was 4-5 years old that would suggest version 5 which ran between 2002 and 2004. I'd suggest you use the Roxizap uninstaller available here (click) to completely clean out all the significant scraps of Easy CD Creator 5. The uninstaller was built for just that purpose. If you are still getting odd things popping up after that, it's time for the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility available from Microsoft, here. Read their instructions and description carefully before downloading and using that utility to straighten up your Microsoft Installer.
