GeorgeWi
I have had similar problem. I used Sony DVR to create DVD from TV show. It plays OK using Cineplayer. But C10 only recognizes Video_RM and Video_TS files when I try to import the video using VideoWave or Capture Import function.

I'm also curious as to whether you had a choice between "Video" and "VR" mode recording mode when you made you video recordings? I'm not sure from your post if you recorded on mini-DVDs or other media.
GeorgeWi
I created a DVD from my RCA DVR player. It plays OK using Cineplayer. When I try to import/capture the only files that appear are Video_RM and Video_TS. Does anyone know what is going on?
Jim_Hardin
Put the disc back into your RCA Recorder and Finalize or Close it. You will need to read your Recorder's instructions to see where they hide it.
GeorgeWi
Put the disc back in the Sony and Finalize it. I made several disks and did finalize it. Same result. IT was a Sony DVR not a RCA. It will play in another DVD player I have and also using cineplayer. Only the two small TS and RM files dated 2004 are shown when using Microsoft Explorer. I will check the Sony manual to see if there is a close instruction. The Sony recorded on a std size DVD Thanks
