harold1
I have ripped cds and converted them to mp3 files. I have just purchased a Philips cd/mp3 player and it works fine. I have an mp3 player in my car and it wont play everything on the disc. I am afraid i dont know the brand of the player in the car, but the car is a Toyota Camry Presidential model. I hope this is enough information for you to help. thank you, Harold

If you make a second copy of the disc, with an identical set of files, does it play/not play the same songs? Now what if you leave off some of the songs that currently play, will it play some of the songs that it previously didn't play? If so, that goes along with Larry's hypothesis. It sounds like there are some folder/file/play list limit restrictions you are running into. For example, on my son's car system, there is a limit of 99 files in any given folder (including the root), so I have to create 2 folders with less than that number of files in each one when making him a disc. I also make sure I include a playlist when burning since his system will recognize it and use that to play everything. I use Music Disc Creator for this btw.
