Converted Dvd Movies Appear As Tv Shows In Itunes

I have been converting some DVD movies for use on my iPhone, both directly from a DVD and as a VIDEO_TS folder. The movies convert and play just fine as .M4V files, however when I import them into iTunes, they automatically demand to be put in the "TV Shows" category. I can't seem to find any way to have them import as movies.

 

I admit this a completely picky complaint, but I really would like to know if there is a simple trick or fix for this. I would like my movies to show up as movies, and not have weird information like Episode and Show appear when I'm browsing them in my library and on my phone.

Use the Get info function to view the properties for the video clip in iTunes. Go to the video tab and change the Kind to Movie.

Thanks much... that did the trick. I assume that Toast has to choose something by default, although perhaps it would be nice to have the type be selectable during conversion, or in the Preferences pane. Just a suggestion...
