Transitions Missing From Drop Down

BobUP

Question

In Meadia Creator 10 - in VideoWave - when adding trasitions between pictures,

There are several views in the add transition dialog that display the message

"There are no items to show in this view"

All = shows just those transition types indicated as "OK" below.

Reveals = OK

Pushes and Slides = OK

Page Turns = "There are no items to show in this view"

3-D = "There are no items to show in this view"

Particles = OK

Distort = "There are no items to show in this view"

any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks!

3D transitions are only available in Hardware render mode and that depends on your video card. In Videowave, click on TOOLS / Options. At the top, click the Graphics Test button. When the test is complete, there will be a 'dot' beside Hardware or Software. If the test stays on 'software', then your video subsystem does not support the DirectX commands needed for the 3D transitions and effects. If you force it to hardware, the program may crash or lock up when you use those transitions or effects.

:)

That was it.

I downloaded the latest Directx

retested - still came to Software

Checked the Directx diagnostics and it showed on an issue with unsigned driver for sound

Manually changed to hardware

and there they are.

Many Thanks! - Good Job.
