Could Not Record The Disk Because Of A Mac Os Error

BillofOttawa

Question

I was trying to copy a DVD that is (To the best of my knowledge) not copy protected. I'm on a mac with OS 10.5 and i have upgraded it.

The blank DVD's i was using were fairly old fujifilm DVD-R 4.7 GB.

The pop up error screen read in full

"Could not record the disk because of a Mac OS Error."

"result code = 1634955892"

I think the prob might be that the disk is too small, would that get that kind of error?

Update: The disk isn't too small, it's the same as the first one.

Also, the disk is home-made, so unless the software he used added some kind of copy protection it's not copy protected. Any ideas?

It should work. Try choosing Save as Disc Image instead of clicking the burn button. When that is done select the disc image using the Image File setting and burn your DVD.

If that doesn't work either there is another way that involves having Popcorn create a new menu for the DVD. Let me know if you want to know about that option.
