Is There Something Wrong With Emc10,does Not Work

I am not really computer literate,that is why I did love to create on roxio 7.5. for years. not very many problems.

I finally broke down and puchased EMC10 suite. and I do not think it ever install correctly. I am using windows xp and had the old roxio 7.5..Removed all per your instructions and did a complete and according to the instruction reinstall. everytime I try just to fix a simple picture. It does not work. WRinkles do not remove.I have followed read and reread all instructions . It says it will work. but someone is lying. Is it me or is it the software.

Also why does it take 10 hours to download update. I finally downloaded and I try to run and it say something about Roxio emcsutiev10_4737ga50r05

exe is not a valid win32.application. Can someone please guide me. I am so frustrated and ready to go back to 7.5. Its not fair. thanks

Print them out and follow them to the letter!

 

You did not mention what OS you have but I am guessing it is XP. The Update is only 455KB so there is something amiss on your end if that takes 10 hours to download…

 

After you reach the Uninstall portion of the instructions, download the update and take note of where you save it to.(don't try to run it)

 

Finish the install then run the update.

exe is not a valid win32.application.

I will try this all per your instruction tonight. in hopes that this software will work

I download always to my desktop. than I put in file if I need to keep this..

If you are getting the 'not a valid Win32' message your download file is corrupt and you'd need to redownload.

 

You should be able to open the download exe file with winrar or winzip (it's a self-extracting archive) and the recopmmendation is once that is done and installed the first thing to do is make a DVD with the contents of the extracted folder so you have a backup copy that Windows can access for any repairs (if needed)

Ok did as your requested. I did the clean installation of easy medai creator 10 spent hours. Just reinstalled the disc. It seems that in Photo Suite. the fix button for wrinkles does not work. no matter if I use zoom in marque as instructed by the tutorial. It does not work. wrinkles do not go away. I am so frustrated. this time I installed instead of all only the essentials. still I cannot fix any of my photos. I was so hoping this would work.I cant find to much information on the photo suite portion of this software, I do all it instructs and no good. I am using windows xp 2nd edition p4 3 gig of memory. I used to use roxio 7.5 maybe I should go back. any bit of information or guidance on how to use this software espeiclally in fixing photos and removing wrinkles. thanks Puma

You said you bought EMC 10. Please confirm you didn't buy some OEM version off of Ebay?

 

To use Marquee Zoom, you first activate it and your cursor should change when in the canvas area. Left Click/Hold and drag the area you want to zoom:

The Wrinkles brush sort of results in a blurring of the image. (it is much more complex than that but at a glance…)
