My Dvd Causes Videowave To Stop Working

boots

Question

 After doing three clean installs (due to run time errors and missing mpeg2 codecs), Iwas finally able to use videowave.

I was celebrating too soon!

When I tried to create a DVD as I have done many times on EMC 8 + 9, as soon as I attempt to open My dvd or My DVD express, I get a message that video wave has stopped running and windows will have to close the program. I tried the repair and I have done a simple uninstall and reinstall with no luck. I am really getting frustrated with EMC 10. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You'll need to post specs on your computer: o. system, processor, ram, available hard drive space, video card, etc. Then people w/ more knowledge than me can let you know if your pc has the ability to do video work and, if so, to try and find out where the problem may lie....

Update:

I'm stealing info cd posted in another topic, here, re: MINIMUM system requirements for EMC 10

Check your setup against this list and report back...

Easy Media Creator® 10 Suite

Minimum System Requirements:

* Windows Vista with 1.6 GHz Intel processor, 512 MB RAM

* Windows XP with 500 MHz processor or faster; 128 MB RAM

* 1 GB of free hard disk space for typical installation of all components

* 1024x768, 16-bit color graphics card

* DirectX 9 or higher compatible sound card and graphics card

* Windows Media Player 10 or higher

* Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher

* DVD-ROM drive is required to install the software

nvidia covers a multitude of sins - I'm guessing you have a laptop so can you tell us

1: the model number of the graphics

2: the amount of memory it has available

3: whether you have updated drivers from the nvidia website and

4: whether you have installed the latest DirectX from MS
