My goal, which I learned from this forum last year, is to create a playlist of songs (electronically, not on disc) complete with crossfades with out having to burn a CD and then reimport them.
I am running Mac 10.5.3 with Toast 8.0.4. I drag files to the Audio CD portion of the Audio menu in open window in order to make mix CD's. I drag my songs/files either directly from itunes or from a folder with songsg. The original songs are never moved. I then save the "cd playlist" as a disk image using . Then I open the disk image to export the songs with the cross fades. I select export, as itunes lossless files. At this point, an error messages appears after consistently exporting 40 songs, of 99. The message reads,"Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS Error. Result Code = -40. This exact situation has started to happen on files that used to export fine.
