Mydvd 9 Doesn't Work,

Dorkuserectus

Question

My copy of "MyDVD 9 Studio Premier" won't work. It started with the inability to import a video clip. It would say "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error, Program: C:\program files\Roxio\VideoUI 9\VideoWave9.exe". Then it would say "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error, Pure Virtual Function Call, R 6025". So I followed the Roxio instructions on doing an uninstall and clean install. Now, not only do I get that message again, I get a new "Buffer Over run" Message. I am beside myself with frustration and anger. Some body please help me. Even if it is just to say, scrap it all and get a different editing program.

System:

Hewlett-Packard Company

HP Pavilion a1600n

AMD Athlon ™ 64 X2 Dual

Core Processor 3800+

2.00 Ghz , 3.50 GB of RAM

Microsoft Windows XP

Version 2002

Service Pack 2

Graphics:

Is this the Clean Install instructions ( http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000086CR ) you are refering too......if so, make sure you did not skip anything.
