Adding Thumbnail To Chapter Button

This is driving me crazy, as sometimes it seems to work, and other times it doesn't. I am trying to add a thumbnail to the chapter button. I right click, click on the add thumbnail, select the frame, click OK. Usually, the thumbnail does not change. Or sometimes it will be added as the main picture, but not the button I chose! Am I missing something, or is the program buggy? Thanks.

Specify which Menu and Button Style you are using???

I use the default menu (home theater) with the default buttons.

OK, just did one using that with style, 10 chapters and not one problem…

 

Cehck to see of your Vidio Card Drivers are up to date.

 

Also, in MyDVD, check or try with Render set to Software – Tools – Options – Render - Software

OK, thanks, I will try. I have a new quad core computer, and I keep everything up to date. The problem I am having is, 3 thumbnails won't take, the 4th one will! And then when I try again, one thumbnail will suddenly become the main picture. So I was assuming either there was something I was missing, or the program is buggy.

I wouldn't want to say that the program is free of bugs, but what you are describing isn't one of them…

 

The only way I can get the main screen to change is by changing the top menu (the first one). Then and maybe you can call this a bug, but the only time the main screen will update is when you return from Edit Chapters…

 

So the last thing you do is set the top menu thumbnail to what you want, and go into and out of Edit Chapters if you want the main screen image to update.

Thanks. When you add the buttons, do you add them, and THEN link them one at a time, or do you add one, link, add thumbnail, and move to next one? Thanks again.

Huh???

 

I Edit Chapters after I bring in the clip and let it create all of the menu buttons. No linking evolved.
