Jim_Hardin
Some of your post makes no sense??? You posted in an area for V10 but say you have V6? V6 ceased production in 2004. Recording time is limited by the size of your hard drive. V6 never came with Dazzle so you may have to use the capture software that came with the Dazzle device. Lastly V6 was one of a kind, very simple and very limited! There is no upgrade path that will jump you 4 versions ahead. You can shop around but you will pay the same price for the EMC 10 Suite that everyone else pays.
geordieboy
cheers There were a few tiny spelling mistakes which are too trivial to correct, Your reply i suppose i was half expecting sombody to sort of point that out which verified my suspicions so i suppose i will just get the new version or buy a new dazzle which will come will the newest software soon , the dazzle i have came with pinnacle 9 which is outdated now also and will also not work with my pc as i have the newest pinnacle on my pc ( lost by original CD'S ) oh well time to spend soon i was hoping for a answer that would sovle it without spending again but there you go thanks for your reply
Brendon
A few tiny spelling mistakes ?? You never did tell Jim why you posted in the EMC 10 area when you are struggling with ECD&DVD6.
geordieboy
well with 10,409 posts you obviously very experienced I am very new here and not very experienced hence how i discovered this forum , your manners are not a very good advert for Roxio , as i discovered this through roxio home page you must allow for everybody not knowing everything and be more supportive and helpful to new people i will be forwarding a complaint to the roxio website on my first post here at first it take a while to discover all the diferent sections as there are so many so i thought maybe a post in a capture part may be at first a good idea but to be quite frank you can stick your forum and shall complain accordingly extremely ignorant and bad mannered
lynn98109
First, there isn't a "one size fits all" solution to the combination of Hardware, Operating System, and Software. (Or if you find the download for "fixit.exe", please let us know where.) Second, those of us who answer here are users of the software. From time to time Roxio personnel drop in, and you can spot their posts because they have the Roxio logo by their name. If you want to address your concerns to Roxio, you will have to contact Roxio. Third, you have given absolutely no info about your computer specs, or what Operating System you are using. If you want an answer that is worth anything, you are going to have to give us the information needed to give that useful answer. Finally, I find it strange that you "just bought" a program that has been out of prodluction for around 4 years. To my mind that could stand some clarification, but probably I am being off subject. If you think buying EMC 10 will "solve" the problem, and it turns out that the problem is your Hardware doesn't meet the minimum requiremnts for Version 6, I don't think EMC 10 will make things better. gi7omy
Obviously you aren't interested in a solution You say 'the market' - question is WHAT market? The fact that you have ECD6 had to be dragged forcibly from you You haven't answered a single question asked, not hjave you said just what it is you are trying to do You say you are using a Pinnacle device - but seem to expect that Roxio is responsible for that - did it ever cross your mind to try Pinnacle? Brendon
It would seem the OP got an old and outdated piece of software from a flea market, and then wanted us to tell him how to make it perform like the flagship version. "Your reply i suppose i was half expecting sombody to sort of point that out which verified my suspicions so i suppose i will just get the new version" He was feeling guilty when he got there, I think. I can understand him having short arms and a long sporran, but I dinna ken his complaining when we ask him questions.

gi7omy
Ignorance is bliss they say We don't get paid for this - we do try to help but if all we get in return is a bolshie load of twaddle from someone who has no interest in trying to BE helped and is only interested in wailing that he was sold an out of date piece of software, there's not a lot we can do.
