Major Crash With Emc10

Just installed EMC 10 and was doing well with making a slide show using the video wave feature.

When previewing the show the program freezes, I get a blue screen telling me that my computer is unable to continue. I have to physically turn off the computer and restart. I get a message that says to uninstall any new software. What is the problem here?

Any suggestions?

I have a Dell Optiplex 755 cant tell you much more than that.

Its ony a few months old. Cold not get my EMC 7 to work either.

When i would try to burn a disc in the dvd burn on the EMC 7 it would also shut down.

If you have Vista, EMC 7 (and EMC8) won't work in it - sorry

 

You may have to go through the clean install process to remove all traces and then re-install 10

Would you tell us your computer specs and operating system?

 

It would be a safe suggestion that you do a Clean Install –

That process includes a full uninstall.
