Problem With Scan/pan In Videowave 8

I have been using VideoWave 7.5 and have created several 200+ slide shows that make extensive use of the scan/pan feature. The results really improve looking at motionless slides.

 

However, I have now upgraded to EMC 8 and when I brought up my projects that were created in 7.5, the scan/pans have all seemingly disappeared. I know that the new implementation of panning is different, but does that mean that I will have to spend several long days recreating them? If so, this is not a worthwhile upgrade. Does anyone know what the hassles are (if any) of removing EMC 8 and reinstalling EMC 7?

There are several features of projects created in 7/7.5 that will not carry over to Version 8, pan & zoom is just one of them. Your options are to recreate the entire project in V8, redo the pan & zoom, or, as you suggest, remove V8 and stick with V7. Using Gary's suggestion to use Add/Remove Programs should work.

Thanks for the response. I was afraid that the change in pan/scan would kill me. Oh well....

 

Since I would like to do my new projects in EMC 8, does anyone know if both EMC 7.5 and EMC 8.0 can co-exist on the same system?

Yes. I have both 7 and 8 on my system right now. Just make sure drag to disc is not installed for both 7 and 8. I do not think it will allow you to install both versions of drag to disc, but I to do not have that application for either version, so I am not sure.
