Adding Photos For A Slideshow

Blackbeagle

Question

I tried to add pictures for a slideshow I plan on burning to a DVD. My problem is that after I select all my pictures (from a designated location), I press "Add Photos", it doesn't do anything. The box is blank. Nothing was added. This happens when I select about 25 pictures. If I select 4-5, then it shows up. Does this thing have a limit as to how many pictures you can add at a time?

Thx everyone!

EMC 10 is a suite with many programs. Which one of the suite are you using? The best program to use to assemble your slideshow is Videowave and then use myDVD to author the DVD

I'm using Photosuite then doing the slide show. I read the above post to uninstall and do a clean install. Now it's all messed up. I get the message, " EMC set up was interrupted. Your system has not been modified".

You have any idea what happened here?

Do the Clean Install, print it out and follow it to the letter!

Hi there. I followed your directions and did a clean uninstall. When I installed it, it went through the install process but the funny thing is that it installed in about 30 seconds. That's way too fast. My computer is not that fast. When I check, there's no icon on the desktop or anything. Nothing was installed. WTH?

There was a suggestion to print out and follow the instructions without skipping a step.

My guess is that you did not find and delete all the entries using Microsoft Install Clean Up. I bet you missed DirectXInstallService.

Another suggestion is to use Video Wave to do your slide show; some people find that the Slide Show Assistants are flaky.

Where did you get the images? If you scanned them at high resolution, perhaps it is just taking a long time to catalog and load those large image files. Perhaps a hardware issue rather than a software one.

Actually, I did use the MS program. I had to download it to uninstall another software. It's the Windows Install Cleanup right? I rand it, deleted all Roxio, Sonic, and DirectXinstall.

I went on to install it but it gave me the 'Finish' button. When I press Finish and look at my desktop or the destination folder, it's completely empty. Nothing was ever installed. This is weird.
