Which Is Better Toast 8 Or Imovie 8 For Video Burning To Disc

yankeegreg

Question

Several years ago (6) I burned video from iMovie to a disc.

I was just happy that I could do it I was ok with it.

I could not get the chapters to work so the video is a constant stream with no chapters to skip to.

I want to do is to load the video disc and add chapters to the new disk that I am recording it to.

Those of you who have macs and have worked with both can you tell me which program is easier and or better.

Thanks for your opinions,

Greg

When Toast makes a video DVD from videos that have no chapters, Toast automatically adds chapter markers in five-minute intervals. This interval can be changed to other preset times when the source video files are in some QuickTime formats, but not in all formats.

iMovie allows you specifically place markers where you want them to be. Toast will recognize and place those markers when making a video DVD from an iMovie project.
