Importing Jpg Files In Videowave

STWinters

Question

I am creating sever slideshows with VideoWave, bringing them together with MyDVD to create presentation to pass out to employees. I have everything working fine, except........

I used Imagecropper and placed a border around the JPG's as discussed in other forums. The image looks great, but when I add it to VideoWave, it seems to blur any text that is in the image. The JPG's are from slides in powerpoint, but like I say when I open the JPG and view it with the border it looks great. As soon as it is brought into VW it distorts the image. I have complied it in various formats and no change. For testing I just use one slide with the same outcome.

I am thinking that your problem could be from the Imagecropper results but it could be other things too…

As a test why don't you bring a test image or 2 into PhotoSuite and do some edits similar to what you are doing in Imagecropper.

Use a Save As and give them a different name so the originals are not effected and try them in VW to see the results.

The JPG's are from slides in powerpoint,
What resolution are you exporting in PowerPoint and how large is the text? Very small text will be difficult to read even if you added that text in Videowave.

Has been a long time since I've used PowerPoint. Does it have a JPG compression option? If it does, make sure it is set for best quality. When encoded to video, these images have to be compressed again.
