Audio Problems

tejasgrl

Question

Hey there... new to this forum; searching for answers. Using MyDVD 10 - full retail version. I have the same problem with the menu adio settings. I am using a pix for my menu background and an mp3 file for the menu audio. I tried adjusting the menu background audio volume using the icon on the preview page, any adjustment to the sound level or fade is reset to zero when you click on the preview icon or save the project. I also tried adjusting the volume (Internal Tracks) in the Production Editor. The volume changes work when you play in the Production Editor but when you return to MyDVD the volume change is gone. The problem is that the volume default that I can not seem to change on the menu is really loud.

Second question, it seems that the 30 second default on the motion menu is still a problem. In checking the posts here I see that this was reported in Feb 2007... any news?

I too have checked that my drivers are current and downloaded updates to DirectX 9 thanks to the link in the previous post on this issue.. problem persists.

Appreciate any/all suggestions.

I don't know if this will help but try making a custom menu rather than trying to modify the menu in-place. Try this (link); it always seems to work for me. You should be able to edit the volume and it should stick. If you want, you can save it as a custom menu. Remember to delete the background audio as the first step.
