Question

I created a combination still and video show in videowave which previews perfectly and am trying to burn it through my dvd but it stops after 6%. The show is an hour long. I also tried just the ISO option to rule out my dvd drive. Still stops at 6%. someone said codecs? i never did video before. Help!

Windows vista, intel pentium dual CPU E 2140, , 3 gigs ram, 300 GB hard drive, 157 GB free

Probably not a codec issue.

You were smart to use Video Wave because you can easily trouble shoot your project. Open the project in Video Wave and then select to output it to a file - mpg for DVD, best quality. The icon is above the preview image. If there is something wrong in the project, it will hang during the encoding. Note the time and look at what is going on at that time. It could be anything from a bad transition timing to trying to use a protected DRM audio file

If the project encodes, just add that a the title in My DVD rather than the project file.
