Rip Cd Destination Folder Is 3 Layers Deep

pollys

Question

Hi,

When I use the Rip CD feature of Easy Media Creator 10. When I select the tracks I want, I select the destination, which is the folder I've created on the hard drive. The tracks are not copied into this folder. What happens, three folders are created 3 layers deep in the folder I created. In the 3rd folder are the tracks I've copied.

Any help on this would be very welcome.

Thank you.

Rip CD is very organized.

The other two folders (as you know) are the artist and the album. That is very handy if you have a lots of artists and/or albums from the same artist. Sometimes it is frustrating if you end up with only one cut in the 3rd level. I think that they did that because to the ability to Rip several CD at one time and still keep some organization.

Don't' make the initial folder; just point Rip CD to your "music" folder (one less level) or just use Windows to rearrange the music to where you want it.

I haven't tried this but it should work. There is an options icon on the lower right of the window. Click on it and select rip. Uncheck the box that I pointed to:

Cheers,

I give it a try and let you know.
