Use Mp3 File As A Background Audio

stan01

Question

Hi,

When I add an MP3 music file to my project as a background Audio, the sounds gets corrupted a little bit at the beginning.

What I did: I muted the volume, than clicked on the "Add Background Audio" icon, selected an MP3 file and tried different options "Add on music track" or "Add on sound effect track".

Is there a different way to add MP3 files? I include two Mp3 files and the sound one is working fine. I tested the MP3 file in Microsoft Media Player and it played perfectly.

Please advice,

Thank you

try using Sound editor to convert the mp3 file to a wav file and try that. While you are in Sound Editor, look at the wave form to see if there is anything strange with the start of the file.
