I have been using EMC 10 with no problem on my old PC. I recently bought a new machine with a Quad Core processor, moved to Vista, 2GB of RAM, 500 HDD and an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT video card. I used to get problems with stuttery video on my old machine so had already set the rendering to software.
Now, I've many times in the past encoded MPEGs with EMC 10 and had no audio problems. When encoding, the preview window would show grey circles and say MPEG-2. When I encoded my first disk on the new machine, the video began to show in the preview window for a few seconds before flicking back to the grey circles screen.
When I check my burned DVD, the audio leaps out of sync with the video at exactly this point. I would really love some help with this as I have been happily using the software for months and love it!

I should add by the way that I have already burned it to an image file and loaded it in an emulated drive with exactly the same result
