Cd Label May Or May Not Print

EDfrom Charlotte

Question

Although I have had EMC 10 for a few months, I just tried creating and printing a CD label a few days ago. I designed it, saved it, and tried to print it on my Dell Photo 926. The print preview looked good, all the proper prompts appeared, the printer activated and then just fed the label through the printer without printing anything. I was in a hurry so I did not do anything until the next day. I opened the label I had saved and tried printing again. This time it printed correctly. I chalked it up to one of those days. Now a few days later, I can't print labels again. It does not seem to matter if they are saved or unsaved. Restarting windows and/or EMC does not fix the problem. I am running Windows XP - SP2 on my Dell tower. Because of some other problems I recently did a clean install and have not downloaded any fixes or installed any software since. I do not run a registry scrub program. Since it does work occasionally I doubt that it is a hardware problem. Any suggestions (other than another clean install)?? I can work around it by using Publisher to do my labels (it always prints) but I like the options of EMC better.
