No "encoding Preview" During Burning.

SFI

Question

I"ve upgraded to Roxio 10. When I would burn a project to DVD using Roxio 10, I use to be able to see the movies during the burning to DVD process in the "Encoding Preview" window. Just starting today I'm unable to see the movie preview. The DVD burns fine, but the menu picture is not visible on the burned DVD, but I can still see the buttons to activate the movie. I"ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the software to see if this fixes the issue. So far, no luck. Any suggestions????

I know this is a little old but you have dropped by the forums w/i the last several days so I'll ask a quick question or two.

Do you by chance see a grey circle w/ "Mpeg" rather than a preview depicting the production's images?

Is the lack of a preview true for all productions you are making or just one?

I would start with Video drivers here. Do you recollect updating manually or via MS update? Try doing a rollback of video card drivers if you suspect there was a recent driver update. On the other hand if not, suggest obtaining recent video driver update and see it that helps.
