enucho
I am not a tecnician and have no great knowlege of computers. However, I DO have MacBook. Most of it is pretty straightforward, except for the burning of CD's and DVD's. I seem to get the impression that with a Mac, even though the drive can burn DVD's it cannot be done with just plain Mac facilities that came with the unit. Various people suggest getting something like Roxio programs, etc. The specific issue here is the following: I downloaded (legitimately) a 4-part series from the BBC and saved it to a USB flash drive (I did this on non-Mac notebook). I can replay the documentary on the Mac without problems. However, I would like to copy/burn this onto a DVD in order to see it on a a regular DVD player that I have at home. Whetever I tried, has not worked. So I turned to Roxio's site and got even more confused as to what product I should be using (Toast?? Popcorn?? or...??) Could someone help. Thanks. grandpabruce
Although this is the PC forum, and the majority of the regulars don't have a MAC, I believe that Toast 9 is the software that will do what you want.
tsantee
Either Toast 9 or Popcorn 3 will do what you want. Toast 9 is the much-better value and is more up to date.
