Can I Convert An Hour Long Audio Mix Into Multiple Tracks?

ctobin3

Question

Before I buy this software I want to make sure it can do a few things. Please help me if you know this. I want to convert an extended audio mix into multiple tracks. I then want to burn the music onto a CD without pauses in between the songs. Is this possible with this software? This is the only thing I care about for now and the new Nero sucks for this. Thanks!!

Sound Editor is great for splitting audio into tracks (and giving each track a name etc). I have not tried to use the burn facility within Sound Editor, but would assume that since you will not be inserting 'silence' between the tracks, then it would not introduce them, but maybe others know better. Once you have inserted all the track separators, you can select 'add music to disc creator''. This will open up that part of the suite and will show all of your tracks. You can then order tham as you wish. In the 'Audio CD' section, you can choose whether to have no transition between tracks, or separate the tracks with whatever number of seconds you wish.

I have used the MP3 disc rather than Audio CD, and by ensuring there are no gaps between the tracks in Sound Editor (removing leaders and trailers) before sending to Music Disc Creator, the tracks play without gaps, but I can still search and select particular tracks.
