Xvid Codec

Hi all, I am trying to output from video wave a file to save as an xvid avi. I have created a template and selected the xvid codec BUT whenever I output the file and check it, it has been made with the cinepak codec. I have succesfully done this in other programs so I know the codec is ok. Any ideas

Thatks. I guess we can assign that problem to a 'ghost in the machine' that has been exorcised now

Don't know what the problem was but I reloaded the computer from a ghost backup and all is ok again. Thanks

I would uninstall the xvid codec and then reinstall it and try again.

Ok uninstalled and ran registry cleaner. Reinstalled.....same problem select xvid and it gives me a cinepak by radius file.
