Can't Burn Anything

Hello,

I have a Dell E520. I was able to burn CD's orginally when I first got my computer. I have recorded all of my VHS tapes to DVD CD's. I am unable to burn them on my computer. I can't even burn the pictures I have on Corel Snapfire. Does anyone know how to help me or maybe this can't be done. I have tried everything including reloading my Roxio. I receive the following error and my DVD door always opens and says please install new disc. I do that and it will repeat opening the door. Here is the error message I receive:

Rountine Error

Program....ommon Files\sonic shared\sonic central\media hub exe

No information to work with.

What exactly are you trying to do? What Roxio/Sonic suite are you using? What program in the suite are you using?

What are your system specs?

It would also be better if you were to post in the forum that applies to the program you have. This forum is really for non-Roxio related topics

I also have a Dell and my Roxio software did the same thing. In Drive Selection it says that no drive is selected. I've tried everyway I can think off to get it to burn something.

Again no information!

Please start a new thread and not just a "me too"

Please post in the forum that applies to your program version with as much information as possible including system specs, video card, and what program you are using and what you are trying to do.

Try the tips here... http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/General%20I...mation/000008GN

And go to the Dell Website support for updates/firmware for your computer. You should do that even if you're not having problems. Computer manufacturers frequently issues updates that prevent problems you don't know you have.
