Error -39 On Mac

I am trying to create an AVCHD disc using blu ray video in toast 9. I dragged a movie i created in imovie 08 to the box in toast 9. I go to burn the disc using a DL DVD hoping it will code in ACVHD. I leads to an error -39 (mac) and says cant access .mts file. When I look at the disc itself it looks as if it has been written to but apparently not finished. What am I doing wrong. Would love some help. Thanks.

Don't have a proper answer but let me tell you some experiences ...

 

I use to "burn" to an image first, to avoid loss of discs in case of it comes to "error -39". Doing so and error -39 shines up I just repeat "burn to image". It's a fast process and seems to cure whatever happend before and without error -39. Then I use the image to burn the disc.

 

Ditto. Once I had a -39 error while burning to disc - I burn to disc again and it worked fine no less than 15 seconds later.
